We were mightily amused today when we were considering buying a potato planter.
Some old favourite ways of growing potatoes in confined spaces are enjoying a renaissance – growing potatoes in sacks. The new sacks are made from a durable polypropylene that should see years of service unlike hessian which will decay over time.
We have some doubts as to the durability as we have seen polypropylene (or something similar) go brittle over a couple of summers when exposed to sunlight.
However, we had a chuckle when we say the text below on Haxnicks Potato Planting sacks. Their confidence isn’t really carried through to their satisfaction guarantee, is it?
